I’m a traveler who believes you don’t have to wait for the perfect travel buddy, the perfect itinerary, or the perfect amount of experience to see the world.
I started traveling solo when I was 18, and it completely changed the way I see travel. Now I’m exploring the world one adventure at a time — especially the places that don’t always make it onto the typical tourist itinerary.
My Story and Why I Travel
18 — London and Exploring Europe
I studied abroad in London at 18, which quickly became my launchpad for exploring Europe. It was my first real taste of living abroad — and I was hooked. With London as my home base, I started taking advantage of every opportunity to explore. Weekend trips, new cities, and figuring out travel as I went became part of my life.
19 — First Solo Travel Experience
Eventually, I realized I didn’t want to wait around for someone else’s schedule to line up with mine. So I started traveling on my own — and found that I actually loved it. My first big solo trip was three weeks on my own at 19 and that’s when I really realized I could do this.
Last Few Years — The Adventures Get Bigger and Harder to Navigate
Over time, my travels took me farther beyond the typical tourist trail. From hiking in Central Asia to navigating buses, borders, and places where information isn’t always easy to find, I started seeking out adventures that felt a little more off the beaten path.
